Demonstrations staged against gang-rape incident in different cities

LAHORE – Demonstrations were staged against the gang-rape incident in different cities on Sunday. The protesters belonging to different walks of life demanded severe punishment for the culprits in public. In Sialkot, students from different colleges and universities staged a demonstration at Ghanta Ghar Chowk. They were carrying placards inscribed with slogans. They also took out a rally. In Karachi, protesters gathered at Civic Centre. The protesters demanded stern punishment for the culprits.
