Demonstrations staged against hike in prices of POL products across country

LAHORE (92 News) – People strongly reacted to the increase in the POL products and took to streets to lodge their protest across the country.

In Lahore, different political parties staged demonstrations against an exorbitant increase in the prices of POL products.

The protesters demanded that the increase should immediately be withdrawn. MPA Mirza Javed said that the people were forced to sell their vehicles.

MPA Hina Pervaiz Butt submitted resented a resolution against the increase in the prices to the Punjab Assembly. The PPP also took out rallies and set up in Gujranwala and Pakpattan. In Sadiqabad, the Jamiat Ulema Islam took out a rally against inflation.

The Peshawar Bar Association announced to observe a strike inflation on Monday.
