Dengue claims three more lives in Punjab, 325 new cases reported

LAHORE (92 News) – As many as three more people died of dengue while 325 new cases were reported during the last 24 hours across the province.

Seven teaching hospitals in Lahore were filled up with the dengue patients.

Moreover, 183 more people tested positive for dengue in Rawalpindi and Islamabad and the total patients have reached 1,400. In Rawalpindi, 122 people were admitted to different hospitals during the last 24 hours.

The DHO said that 42 cases were reported from urban areas, while 19 from rural areas. He said that so far five people have been killed due to dengue in the twin cities.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 198 dengue cases were reported. In total, 626 patients are being treated in different hospitals across the city.
