Dengue fever claims 10 lives in KPK, four in Punjab

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – 10 people have lost their lives due to dengue fever in KPK, increasing the total number of cases to 10,299.

31 new cases of dengue fever were reported during last 24 hours.

Meanwhile according Islamabad district health officer, eight new cases of dengue fever were reported during the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of patients to 4596. Six cases were reported in rural areas and two from urban areas. 21 patients so far have lost their lives due to dengue fever in the city.

On the other hand, dengue fever claims four more lives in Punjab during last 24 hours. Three people among them belong to Lahore, while one belonged to Kasur. This year, the total number of deaths in the province increase to 137.

108 new cases of dengue fever were reported during last 24 hours. 82 cases in Lahore, seven in Gujranwala, three in Rawalpindi, two in Muzafargarh and Sheikhupura, 1 in Bakhar, Faisalabad and Kasur, 1 Khushab, Layya, Multan and Okara patient of dengue fever were reported during last 24 hours.

This year, the total number of cases increases to 24,744 in Punjab. 17,700 cases were reported from Lahore.
