Dengue fever claims 10 more lives in KPK during last 24 hours

PESHAWAR (92 News) – As many as 10 people so far have lost their lives due to dengue fever in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).

21 new patients of dengue fever reported in KPK during last 24 hours. This year the total number of patients in the province reaches to 10,507. The number of active cases in the hospitals of province is 48.

Meanwhile, in Lahore there is a significant decrease in the ratio of dengue patients. According to sectary specialized health care Lahore, 2,583 beds are specified for dengue patients in the hospitals.

In government hospitals 1603 beds are specified for dengue patients, 1,420 among them are free. 980 beds in private hospitals are specified for dengue patients and 838 among them are free.

270 beds are free in Mayo Hospital, 189 in Jinnah Hospital, 205 in General Hospital, 120 in Gangaram Hospital
