Dengue fever claims four more lives in Punjab

LAHORE (92 News) – As many as four people have lost their live due to dengue fever in Punjab while 113 new cases were reported during last 24 hours.

3 people among those who lost their lives belonged to Lahore while one belonged to Sheikhupura, increasing the total number of deaths to 142, this year.

88 patients in Lahore, seven in Gujranwala, four in Rawalpindi, three in Multan, two patients in Faisalabad, Bahawalnagar, Gujrat and Sheikhupura, one patient in Chakwal, Khanewal and Nankana Sahib were reported during last 24 hours.

This year, the total number of dengue patients reached 24,921 in Punjab and 17,788 in Lahore.
