Dengue fever claims two lives in Punjab during last 24 hours

LAHORE (92 News) – Dengue fever has claimed two more lives in Punjab during last 24 hours in Punjab during last 24 hours.

People who lost their lives among them one belonged to Lahore other from Sheikhupura, increasing the total number of deaths to 153 in Punjab.

45 new cases of dengue fever reported in Punjab during last 24 hours. 33 in Lahore, 3 in Faisalabad, 2 in Gujranwala and Vehari, One in Bahawalpur, Narowal, Pakpattan, Sargodha and Muzaffargarh patients of dengue fever were reported during last 24 hours.

This year, total number of dengue patients has reached 25,684 and 18,202 patients reported in Lahore. 470 patients of dengue fever are under treatment in the government hospitals of Punjab, 337 patients of dengue fever are under treatment in government hospitals of Lahore. Other than Lahore, 133 patients are under treatment in government hospitals of the province.
