Dense fog prevails in Punjab, traffic disrupted

LAHORE (92 News) – Dense fog prevails in most areas of Punjab leaving zero visibility on roads. The traffic system has been disrupted as fog continues to blanket various areas of the province on Monday. The arrival and departure of flights at Lahore Airport has also been suspended. Various sections of Motorway and National Highway have also been closed due to thick fog. According to Motorway Police, Motorway M-3 has been closed from Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad while M-4 Gojra section is also closed due to zero visibility. Similarly, M-2 south from Pindi Bhattian to Lahore is also closed. Visibility on National Highway from Lahore to Multan is zero while from Chinab to Kala Shah Kako is 10 to 15 meter. According to Met office, the foggy conditions would continue this week causing further decrease in temperature.
