Detention of Afghan nationals: IHC seeks report from Interior Ministry on Foreign Act

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Islamabad High Court has on Thursday sought report on detained Afghan nationals under Foreign Act. A petition was filed in the court by the lawyer of Afghan national Saeed Haseeb in which it was stated that Superintendent Adyala Jail was not releasing Afghan nationals despite bail. The IHC Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui remarked that the Interior Ministry to inform the court regarding government’s Foreign Act policy. He further sought a report from the Interior Ministry on release of Afghan nationals or expelling from the country.
