DG ISPR announces to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day with govt

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor has announced to observe the Kashmir Solidarity Day with the government. Addressing a conference held with regard to Defence and Martyrs Day 2019 on Wednesday, he said that sirens would be blared at 12 noon across the country. “The entire nation will gather at their respective places. ‘Kashmir Banay Ga Pakistan’ will be part of the Defence and Martyrs Day,” he announced. The DG ISPR said that they had started the process of visiting the houses of each martyr and it would continue. “Each martyr was remembered last year which got a good public response. We will visit the houses of each martyr this year as well,” he added. He urged the people to visit the houses of the martyrs and meet their relatives. “Great nations remember their martyrs. Portraits of the martyrs will be displayed,” he said.
