DG ISPR congratulates APS student on outstanding success in GCE exams

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor has congratulated Ahmad Nawaz, who was critically injured in APS tragedy, on his outstanding success in the GCE examinations in the United Kingdom. In a Twitter message, he said: “You (Ahmed Nawaz) made us all proud and defeated evil forces through your courage, determination and power of education. Good luck for your future pursuits. Stay blessed.” Earlier, Ahmed Nawaz tweeted he got 6A plus and 2As in his all eight examinations. “Thanks to my parents and all of you for supporting me. This is a big success for me and takes me many steps closer to my admission in Oxford University,” he said. On December 16, 2014, heavily armed terrorists had attacked Army Public School Peshawar and killed 131 schoolchildren and 10 others. Ahmad Nawaz was also injured in the attack. He not only faced difficult time with bravery but also continued his education and elated the nation through his determination.
