DG ISPR rebuffs speculations about COAS Syed Asim Munir's visit to USA
RAWALPINDI (92 News) - DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has rejected the speculations on the social media about the visit of Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir to the United States of America (USA).
In a message on Twitter on Thursday, he said that there have been baseless speculations on social media that COAS Syed Asim Munir is visiting the USA. "It is categorically stated that the COAS is on an official visit to the UK from 5th to 10th February in connection with the 5th Pakistan-UK Stabilisation Conference, hich which a bi-annual event for military-to-military cooperation between the two countries. Senior Pakistan military leadership has been participating in the event since 2016."
