KARACHI (92 News) – A dispute has arisen in the Muttahida Qaumi Movement over the party's election symbol and registration. While Dr Farooq Sattar called a meeting of the National Assembly Members, the group led by Amir Khan requested the Election Commission of Pakistan to register the party with a new symbol. The Bahadurabad camp has a new strategy to remove Farooq Sattar's supporters from the Rabita Committee. Dr Sattar on Monday asked the party workers to have patience and resist provocation. He said they should wait until he issued instructions for them. Talking to the media, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqi, convener of the other group, said that they were determined to make the MQM a model political party. He asked all Muttahida Qaumi Movement workers to avoid controversy. Faisal Sabzwari offered Farooq Sattar to become the deputy convener. The new party has submitted an application to change the record. “We have no objection to Kamran Tessori, but to the violation of the rules.
