Disqualification Case: ECP issues notices to Imran Khan, Jahangir Tareen

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has on Wednesday restored three applications regarding disqualification of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan and party leader Jahangir Tareen. The ECP had cancelled the applications regarding disqualification of Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen as the applicants failed to follow the petitions. Talking to media, the PTI chairman’s lawyer Bakhtiyar Kasoori said that it is shameful act of the ECP to restore rejected applications. Shahnawaz Dhillon had filed a petition for the disqualification of Imran Khan, while Malik Khalil Ahmad and Bilal Mustafa had filed a petition for the disqualification Jahangir tareen. The ECP has also issued notices to PTI chairman Imran Khan and party leader Jahangir Tareen and adjourned the hearing till December 6.
