Disqualification case: SC seeks reply from Imran Khan, PTI

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court of Pakistan has sought a reply from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Imran Khan in applications filed against them.

Akram Sheikh, defence counsel, contended that not disclosing assets intentionally is a false statement.

He said that the consequences of not disclosing the assets have been written in the law.

“Can an elected member be disqualified for not disclosing his assets?” the court questioned.
