Do not concur with US concerns on CPEC project, says Firdous
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that do not concur with US concerns on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project, adding that CPEC is a guarantor to our economic development.
In a series of tweet, the special assistant also mentioned that the CPEC would open new vistas of economic development and prosperity for not only Pakistan and China, but also for the whole region. She also dubbed CPEC as first priority of Pakistan.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said China is a long-standing and deep friend to Pakistan and it has always supported us in every hour of need. She termed that Pak-China friendship has assumed a proverbial status and it is sweeter than honey, higher than Himalaya and deeper than oceans. The Special Assistant said economic zones to be established under CPEC will generate job opportunities for people.
