Doctors protest against non-payment of salaries

FAISALABAD (92 News) – The doctors of District Headquarters Hospital Faisalabad have on Monday staged a protest demonstration against non-payment of their salaries. Protesting doctors of DHQ hospital holding banners and placards inscribed with their demands, surrounded the office of Medical Superintendent (MS). They chanted slogan against the hospital administration. Protesters said that the doctors have not been paid for the last two months. The protesting doctors have closed down Outpatients Department (OPD), while the patients continued to suffer as Outdoor Patient Departments (OPDs) were closed down due to the strike of doctors. The protesters also held sit in outside MS office to press the administration to issue their salaries.
