Does PTI want 100% nomination papers to be approved? CJP

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa, hearing the level-playing field case, remarked that whether the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wants that 100 percent nomination papers of the party should be approved.

He observed that the PTI should tell the court what it wants. "It is the court of law where verbal speech cannot work out.

Addressing counsel Latif Khosa, the CJP observed that it seems the PTI wants the postponement of the elections. "We are trying our best to conduct the elections."

Latif Khosa contended that the nomination papers of the frontline leaders of the PTI could not be approved.

The judge remarked the PTI should not raise a hue and cry here as it was the duty of the ECP to look into the matter pertaining to the election.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing until Monday.
