Dollar continues to soar in interbank market, reaches Rs 169.08

KARACHI (92 News) – The dollar continued to increase against the rupee in the interbank market, reaching Rs 169.08 after a five-paisa increase on Friday.

In the open market, the dollar was closed at Rs 170 after gaining 20 paisas.

On Thursday, the rupee lost 35 paisas to close at Rs169.03 in the interbank market, according to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

Last week, the currency had dropped to an all-time low of Rs169.12 against the US dollar.
