Dollar continues to surge in interbank market, reaches all-time high of Rs 170.65

KARACHI (92 News) – The dollar continued to surge in the interbank market, reaching all-time high of Rs 170.65 after gaining 17 paisa.

In the open market, the dollar rate increased by Re1 to Rs 173.50. In September, the dollar price increased by Rs 4.27, while it rose by Rs 11-13 from July to September.

On the other hand, the 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed an increase of 532 points. It closed at the level of 44,899.
