Dollar further increases by Rs2 to Rs223.42 in interbank market

- Despite transferring dollars by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the dollar price continued to increase by Rs2 to Rs23.42 in the interbank market on Wednesday.

In the open market, dollar was sold at Rs234 after an increase of Rs1.

On the other hand, 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Market decreased by 94 points and it was closed at 41,766 points.

Meanwhile, Miftah Ismail has declared the reasons behind an increase in the dollar price as the floods and the import bill.
