Dollar gains Rs3.26 in interbank trading, closes at Rs280.29

KARACHI (92 News) - After successive losing for 28 days, the US dollar gained Rs3.26 against the local currency in the interbank trading on Wednesday.

In the open market, dollar gained Rs3 and was sold at Rs280.

On the other hand, 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Market witnessed a decrease of 99 points and was closed at 49,431 points.

Meanwhile, the per tola rate of 24-karat gold increased by Rs.6,400 and was sold at Rs206,500 as compared to its sale at Rs200,100 the previous day of trading.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs5,487 to Rs177,040 from Rs171,553 whereas the price of 10 grams 22-karat gold went up to Rs162,287 from Rs 157,257.

The price of per tola silver increased by Rs50 to Rs2,550 whereas that of 10 grams silver went up by Rs42.87 to Rs2,186.21.
