Dollar increases by Rs2.19 to Rs210.10 against rupee in interbank market

KARACHI (92 News) - The dollar rate increased by Rs2.19 against the rupee in the interbank market, reaching at Rs210.10 from Rs207.91.

In the open market, the dollar was sold at Rs211.50 after gaining Rs2. 

Meanwhile, 100-index of Pakistan Stock Exchange gained 518 points and reached at 41,862 points.  

On the other hand, oil edged up on Wednesday, a day after settling below $100 a barrel for the first time since April, and gains were limited by a US supply report showing rising inventories and caution ahead of US inflation data.

In the international market. the gold price reduced by US$9 per ounce and reached at US$1,723, the price 9-month low. The silver price reached at US$18.83 after reducing by 29 cent.

Moreover, copper rate decreased by 17 cent to US$3.25 per ounce, platinum reduced by US$34 to US$826 per ounce and palladium decreased by US$148 to US$2,023.
