Dollar jumps to Rs200.10 after gaining Rs1.61 against rupee in interbank market

KARACHI (92 News) - The dollar rate jumped to Rs200.10 after gaining Rs1.61 against the rupee in the interbank market on Thursday.

The dollar rate has increased by Rs7.38 during this week, while its price has increased to the highest level of Rs17.07 since the formation of the new government.

In the open market, the dollar is being sold at more than Rs201.10.

Meanwhile, 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Market witnessed a decrease of 43 points and was closed at 42,983 points. During the trading, the market recorded a decrease of 0.1 percent. The market capitalization has risen to Rs 7,120 billion.
