Dollar reaches all-time high of Rs194.18 in interbank, gains Rs11 after new govt

KARACHI (92 News) - The dollar rate continued to increase in the interbank market and reached all-time high of Rs194.18 after gaining Rs1.65 against the rupee on Monday.

The dollar has increased by Rs11 since the new government.

On the other hand, 100-index of Pakistan Stock Market witnessed a decrease of 819 points. With an increase in the dollar rate, the foreign loans have increased by Rs1,400 billion.

Meanwhile, the per tola price of gold has jumped to Rs136,600 after an increase of Rs600 per 10 grams. In the international market, the gold rate has decreased by US$14 per ounce to US$1,799.
