Domestic consumers in Punjab to remain deprived of gas from 10pm till 5am in winters

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Petroleum Ministry approved the gas load management plan on Monday. According to the plan, the domestic users in Punjab would remain deprived of gas from 10pm till 5am during the winter season. Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi could not keep his promise of providing uninterrupted gas supply to domestic users. Talking to media, Abbasi said that the federal government has failed to overcome the gas crisis despite the passage of three years. The domestic consumers would have to face worse gas shortfall despite the import of LNG. “It has become very hard to meet the gas demand in Punjab after 18^th Amendment,” he said.
