LAHORE (92 News) – PIA chairman Azam Sehgal has said that there was no technical fault in the doomed plane. Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, he said that the plane disappeared from the radar after the May Day call at 4:14pm. “All the passengers on board have died.” The PIA chairman said that all ATR planes are completely fit for flights. He said that facts will come out after investigations. “However, the possibility of human or technical fault cannot be ruled out,” he maintained. Azam Sehgal said that the plane was prepared in 2007 and was inducted in the PIA fleet the same year. He said that the PIA has 11 ATR planes and one of them has been grounded. “All the bodies will be transported to Islamabad by helicopter till Thursday,” he added.
