LAHORE (92 News) - The authorities arrested and fined dozens of 'tandoor' owners for not reducing the 'Roti' price.

Meanwhile, the police arrested Rawalpindi Nanbai Association president Shafique Qureshi for not reducing the 'Roti' price and instigating the tandoor owners to a strike. He has been shifted to jail under the 16 MPO.

On the other hand, the 'Roti' and 'Nan' prices have been reduced in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after Punjab to Rs 16 and Rs 20 respectively.

Responding to decrease in the 'Roti' and 'Nan' prices in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari said that the Gandapur government was following the good acts taken by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. "Now people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will get 'Roti' at low rates," he added.
