Dr Asim allowed traveling abroad for two weeks

KARACHI (92 News) – The Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has allowed Pakistan People’s Party leader Dr Asim Hussain to travel abroad for two weeks.

The court ordered Dr Asim to submit Rs 200,000 as bail guarantee.

Dr Asim had filed a review petition in the Sindh High Court for returning his passport.

The medical board had also suggested him to go abroad for treatment.

Dr Asim had requested the court to remove his name from the Exit Control List and return his passport.

Dr Asim has been arrested in cases pertaining to facilitating the treatment of terrorists and corruption reference of Rs 462 billion.

The hearing of corruption reference has been adjourned till April 29.
