Dr Asim Case: Sindh Rangers rejects contempt of court accusations

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh Rangers has on Friday submitted a counter affidavit in the Sindh High Court, rejecting accusations made in a contempt of court notice submitted to the SHC by PPP leader Dr Asim. Sindh Rangers DSR Saeed Sommro said that the allegations were baseless and that all medication and facilities had been provided to Dr Asim while he was in Rangers custody. Saeed Somro said that Rangers have Doctors and Paramedical staff and Dr Asim has been given best medical care on the order of the court. The court ordered the counsel lawyer to submit reply and adjourned the hearing till October 13. The court directed Dr Asim to be shifted to hospital and the court remarked that the responsibility of the security would be on former minister himself.
