Dr Asim moves SHC for removal of his name from ECL

KARACHI (92 News) – Former federal minister Dr Asim Hussain has on Wednesday filed a petition in the Sindh High Court (SHC) for the removal of his name from the Exit Control List (ECL).

The counsel of Dr Asim Hussain filed the petition in the court in which he stated that it is necessary for former minister to go abroad for surgery of back and other treatment after the medical board has proposed him treatment from abroad.

He further stated his name should be removed from the ECL and allow him to go abroad.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Interior Ministry, and other relevant departments were made parties in the petition.
