Dr Asim’s wife demands medical checkup details of her husband

KARACHI (92 News) – Dr Zareen, wife of former federal minister and Sindh Higher Education Commission chairman Dr Asim Hussain wrote a letter to Director General Sindh Rangers and Inspector General of Sindh Police regarding her husband’s arrest. Dr Zareen stated in her letter to DG Rangers Bilal Akbar that her husband was detained illegally and she came to know about Dr Asim’s detention through media. She said that Dr Asim was apprehended during a meeting of Higher Education Commission. She said that they belonged to a law-abiding family and it is their right to know where he has been held. “Dr Asim is a patient of diabetes and hyper tension,” she stated. On the other hand, Dr Zareen wrote a letter to IG Sindh, in which she stated that her husband was apprehended from his office, adding that he is also a patient of blood pressure. She stated that Dr Asim must be given permission to meet his family and undergo medical checkup.
