LAHORE (92 News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan called on Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar and discussed matters of mutual interest, political affairs and progress on payments of dues to media. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that the alliance of opposition political parties is aimed at protection of personal interests. “Opposition leaders have laid the foundation of this unnatural alliance to hide their ’blemishes’,” he said. The chief minister said that opposition alliance had been formed abruptly and it would meet its end speedily. “The Punjab government is taking effective measures for the welfare of the people. Several steps have been taken to provide relief to the people in Ramazan bazaars. Now people can buy sugar up to two kg in Ramazan bazaars. Subsidy has been given on flour, sugar, ghee, vegetables and fruits in 309 Ramazan bazaars and price control magistrates are active to check price hike.” Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has provided real relief to the people in Ramazan bazaars and making efforts for the welfare of the people. She also praised the efforts of CM Usman Buzdar and his team for achieving target of the wheat procurement campaign and giving full benefit to farmers of their hard work. Firdous Ashiq Awan said political orphans have no future. Pakistan is heading forward under the leadership Prime Minister Imran Khan. “Former rulers have badly damaged the economy while PTI is taking concrete measures to rescue and rebuild it,” she maintained.
