Dr Uzma murder case: Husband handed down death, friend awarded life term

JHELUM (92 News) – The additional sessions judge on Wednesday handed down death to the husband of German national Dr Uzma for murdering his wife.

Shahbaz has also been fined Rs 200,000.

The court also awarded life term to Malik Naveed, friend of the victim’s husband Shahbaz, in addition to a fine of Rs 100,000.

Dr Uzma was murdered on December 27 and her husband tried to distort the case, but her children resolved mystery. They said that their husband was an addict and used to quarrel with their mother for money.
