ISLAMABAD (92 News) Renowned Islamic scholar Zakir Naik, who is on a month-long visit to Pakistan, called on National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq at the Parliament House in Islamabad on Tuesday.
During the meeting, both Dr Zakir Naik and Ayaz Sadiq discussed important matters, including challenges faced by Muslim Ummah and the importance of interfaith harmony.
Zakir Naik emphasised that the Muslim Ummah should unite in the light of the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah.
Ayaz Sadiq pointed out that Islam preaches peace, tolerance, and love. He commended Dr Zakir Naik's efforts in spreading Islam's message of peace and love throughout the world.

It is to be noted here that Dr Zakir Naik arrived in Pakistan on Monday, and he will stay in the country till October 28.
He landed at Islamabad International Airport on Monday morning, where he was received by Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Chairman Rana Mashhood, Ministry of Religious Affairs Additional Secretary Dr Syed Attaur Rehman, Parliamentary Secretary for Religious Affairs Shamshir Ali Mazari, and others.
It is also worth mentioning here that Dr Zakir Naik and his son, Sheikh Farooq Naik, are visiting Pakistan on the invitation of the government. They will deliver public lectures in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.
