Drone strike in Afghanistan kills senior Taliban commander
KABUL (92 News) – A US drone strike in Afghan province of Kunar on Sunday killed a senior commander of the Taliaban.
According to Abdul Habib Sayedkhili, police chief of the province, the drone targeted militant hideouts in Dara-i-Pech district early this morning. “Three Taliban including Mullah Abid, a senior commander of the group, were killed in the strike,” he said.
