Drone strike kills terrorist behind attack on GHQ, Sri Lankan team

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Qari Yaseen, who was involved in attacks on GHQ and Sri Lankan cricket teams in Lahore was killed along with his three accomplices in a US drone strike on Monday in Afghanistan’s Paktika Province.

The United States carried out a drone strike in Barmal area of Afghanistan killing a terrorist namely Qari Yaseen along with his three accomplices.

The slain terrorist was involved in attacks on Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore and attack on General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

Qari Yaseen was also involved in the attack on former president General Pervez Musharraf and former prime minister Shaukat Aziz.
