Drop scene: PML-N’s worker murdered by his own son in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA (92 News) – Drop scene of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) worker Abid Sandhu as he was murdered by his own son. According to the reports, accused Waleed who is student second year, killed his father when he was scolded by him. It is pertinent to mention here that victim Abid Sindhu was PML-N coordinator for PP-56 and also used to run a cable network. The young son killed his father by opening fire on him when he was sleeping. Abid Sandhu was found dead today in his house located in Model Town. It was pronounced that unidentified persons murdered him. After the tragic incident, police officials arrived at place of incident, collected evidence and launched the investigations. Police upon suspicion arrested Waleed and during investigation that he fired head shots at his father which killed him on the spot. Waleed confessed to the crime. SP city Imran Razzaq said that second year student Waleed invited his friends in his home yesterday night. During the ceremony, the father scolded his son due to smoking in front of his friends. The friends made at laugh at him and he took this extreme step after feeling insult. The accused with his friend Moeed fired shots at head of his father and murdered him at the spot.
