QUETTA (92 News) – A senior police official DSP Haji Aman Ullah among 15 martyred and several injured in Quetta’s mosque blast on Friday. According to the sources, a loud explosion has been heard in Quetta’s Satellite Town area. The Initial reports suggested that 13 persons martyred and 18 injured in the mosque blast. The nature of which is yet to be determined. The senior police officer, who martyred in blast, has been identified as DSP Haji Aman Ullah. It was reported that the explosion shattered the glass windows of nearby buildings and shops. The sound of the explosion was heard far and wide, causing panic among the people. Soon after the explosion, security forces and rescue staff reached the spot and shifted the injured people to local hospital for medico-legal formalities. Meanwhile, security officials have cordoned off the site of the blast. More casualties are feared as several others are reportedly injured. Earlier on Jan7, at least two people were killed and several injured after a powerful blast at Mekangi Road in Quetta. According to the reports, the blast was occurred on Mekangi Road, close to Liaquat Bazar in Quetta. The nature of the blast is yet to be determined. The police said that the blast occurred near to the vehicle of security forces. It added that 14 injured persons have been shifted to the nearby hospital. It was also reported that the blast shattered the glass windows of nearby shopping malls and shops. The sound of the explosion was heard far and wide, causing panic among the people. Security forces and rescue staff reached the spot and they cordoned off the site of the blast.
