DSP, two SHOs & 2 officials martyred in dacoits attack in Ghotki

GHOTKI (92 News) - DSP, two SHOs and 2 officials were martyred while 4 were injured in an attack by dacoits on the police camp in Ghotki.

During the operation against bandits in Ghotki Kacha, the police suffered a heavy loss due to poor strategy, more than 150 bandits stormed the temporary police camp in Ronti Kacha area, as a result of the attack with rocket launcher modern weapons. One DSP, two SHOs and two officials were martyred while four policemen including SHO Ghulam Ali Brohi were injured.

The martyrs include DSP Obaro Abdul Malik Bhutto, who led the operation, SHO Mirpur Mathilo Abdul Malik Kamangar, SHO Khenjudin Muhammad Laghari, two policemen Saleem Chachadar and Jatoi Patafi.

The robbers did not stop there but desecrated the bodies of the martyrs by taking them into custody and made videos and made them viral. After the incident, SSP Ghotki Tanveer called the district-wide force to Ronti's Kachcha, while the help of Rangers was also sought.

The police have freed the bodies of the martyrs from the dacoits by dealing with some influential people of Kutch. SSP Ghotki says we are not going to back down.

It may be noted that SSP Ghotki had killed the notorious dacoit Saltoshar during an encounter, after which the dacoits were trying to take revenge.
