Dubai-bound Indian plane makes emergency landing in Karachi
KARACHI (92 News) - A Dubai-bound Indian flight with 138 passengers on board made an emergency landing at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport due to leakage of its fuel tank on Tuesday.
Sources said that passengers were not allowed to disembark from the plane at the airport. They said that the flight (SG-11) was heading to Dubai from New Delhi.
They added that the captain had contacted the control tower after its fuel tank leaked.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said that the engineers are working to fix the fault and only after their clearance the aircraft will be allowed to fly.
