RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Duty Magistrate Muhammad Naeem refused to release model Ayyan Ali at the eleventh hour on Wednesday night. According to the Lahore High Court verdict, only the Customs Judge or his duty judge is authorized to release her. The duty magistrate said that the court could not issue any order about the release of Ayyan Ali. “Ayyan Ali will also be treated like other accused.” The court said that the subordinate court has been misguided with regard to the LHC verdict. The LHC order was dispatched through a private plane. The proceeding was held in the house of the Sessions Judge as the judicial time had expired. A special magistrate was deputed for the purpose. Ayyan Ali is facing the charge of smuggling US$ five million from Pakistan. Meanwhile, VIP arrangements had been made for the release of Aayyan Ali.
