Each citizen has only one demand that government should go, says Bilawal

MALAKAND (92 News) - Terming Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan's team as 'incompetent and corrupt', PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Monday that each citizen of Malakand has only one demand that the government should go home.

While addressing a Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) gathering in Malakand, the PPP chairman said that the people of Malakand have been suffering from this 'incompetent and illegitimate' prime minister for seven years. "The people of Malakand knows that these 'tabdeeli' peddlers are frauds. Whenever the PPP promised the people of Malakand, it fulfilled it," he added.

"Imran Khan's team consists of incompetent and corrupt individuals. Each citizen of Malakand has only one demand and that is for the 'selected' to go," Bilawal maintained.

All promises he and his party had made to the people were fulfilled, he said, adding that his grandfather, former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, had promised to abolish the Frontier Crimes Regulation (FCR) system and made good on it.

"The PPP has fought against the dictators and snatched their rights. Standing in Malakand today, I promise you that together we will drive away the puppets to end the 'selected rule' and restore true democracy," he added.

The PPP chairman said that the bravery with which the soldiers of Malakand fought the terrorists and fled from our land was witnessed by the whole world.

"We have made sacrifices. This land has witnessed many tragedies, during this government we have not been able to bring justice to our APS children. When the incident of terrorism took place with the miners of Hazara community, the whole country stood by them. Imran Khan termed the demands of the family as blackmailing. To date, not a single martyr has received justice. Shaheed Benazir Bhutto could not get justice. The Bilour family and Mian Iftikhar also did not get justice."

The political gathering is also being attended by JUI-F and PDM chief Maulana Fazl ur Rehman and PML-N's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter chief Amir Muqam.

Referring to the problems the country's middle-class and poor segments were facing, the PPP chief said Pakistan's inflation was the highest in the entire region. "We're fighting historical poverty and inflation. This is the Naya Pakistan," he said.
