ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan said that each issue can be discussed with the opposition except the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).

During a pep talk with the editors of newspapers on Tuesday, he said that the government would immediately conduct the elections if the opposition tenders the resignations. "An alliance of some countries does not want to see Pakistan a strong country," he added.

The prime minister said that an effort is being made to weaken Saudi Arabia and Iran under a plan. "Efforts are also being made to destabilize Pakistan as well," he maintained.

He said that their biggest mistake was not to go to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) soon after assuming the power. "Our another mistake was not to start the process to reform the institutions," he added.

PM Imran Khan said that work in the construction industry was going on at a fast pace, which was helping the economy a lot. "Coronavirus cannot be defeated without the help of the masses. However, a complete lockdown will be a destruction for the country," he added.
