Earthquake hits Lahore, its adjoining areas

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A magnitude of 4.1 earthquake jolted Lahore and its adjoining areas on Sunday morning. During the earth quake, the people came out from their houses reciting ‘Kalma Tayyaba’. According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, the epicenter of the earthquake was twenty four kilometers east of Lahore near Pak-India border at twenty kilometers depth. Tremors were also felt in Sheikhpura, Okara, Sahiwal and including amny other cities of PUnjab. No loss of life or property has been reported so far.
