Earthquake with 4.9 magnitude jolts some KP districts

PESHAWAR (92 News) - Tremors as a result of an earthquake were reported in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) including Peshawar at midnight on Sunday. The magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 4.9 Richter Scale and the point of origin was Koh Hindu Kush mountains region. No human or property loss was reported in the aftershocks that were felt in Abbotabad, Haripur, Hazara, Mardan, Swabi, Charsada, Shangla, Bunair, Malakand, Swat and Dir. The depth of shocks was recorded 291 kilometers deep inside earth crux.
