Eating halal meat can turn you into a Muslim, says Nationalist Swedish Party chief

Talking to a local newspaper, Michael Ohman claimed that halal meat has magical powers and can turn non-Muslims into Muslims. Michael Ohman said that he wants to see halal meat banned in local schools because he believes it is against the country’s animal welfare laws. Meanwhile, a Swedish analyist said that the move to ban halal meat unlikely to garner widespread support, as the majority of the population generally support plurality and there is a widespread acceptance of Muslim values.
