ECC allows PASSCO to export surplus wheat

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Economic Coordination Committee at its meeting on Thursday (today) allowed Pakistan Agricultural Storage and Services Corporation (PASSCO) to sell additional two hundred thousand tonnes of wheat. Its meeting was held in Islamabad on Thursday with Finance Minister Asad Umer in the chair. The wheat will be sold out to poultry association at the rate of thirteen hundred rupees per forty kilogram. The ECC also approved to release the funds for Steel Mills pensioners. The matter related to the gas load shedding was also delayed once again.
