ECC approves gas load management plan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Economic Coordination Committee has approved a gas load management plan. Finance Minister Asad Umar presided over the meeting on Tuesday. The meeting also approved Islamic financing facility for the power sector. It also decided to observe minimum gas loadshedding during the winter. The forum also approved the issuance of the Islamic bond to reduce the circular debt. The meeting also decided to overcome gas shortage through liquefied natural gas (LNG). It also approved the government guarantee for the National Power Parks Management Company.
