ECC approves PIA restructuring plan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) on Wednesday approved the restructuring plan of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

Finance Minister Hammad Azhar presided over the ECC meeting.

The forum allocated Rs 2.38 billion for Prime Minister's 'Skill for All' Programme. An amount of Rs 380 million has been earmarked for the Energy Ministry.

Moreover, an amount of Rs 280 million has been allocated for the electronic voting. The amount will be spent on the purchase of equipment and consultancy for the i-voting.

A sum has been approved for Rs 330 million for the airplanes used by President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan.
